ERP migration, 4 months, external vendor, finance team busy at quarter-end
You get
Data migration errors — L4 × I5 = 20 — owner: finance lead — mitigation: two dry runs with reconciled trial balances
Trigger: dry-run 1 trial balance off by > 0.1%
Quarter-end clash — schedule cut-over outside the last 10 days of the quarter.
About this skill
About Risk register
Project risks are usually discussed once at kickoff and then forgotten until they happen. This skill identifies risks across scope, schedule, people, vendors, technology and compliance, rates each one's likelihood and impact from one to five, and gives it a score, an owner, a mitigation and a trigger — the observable sign that the risk is materialising. The top three to watch are called out. Review the register weekly and risks become managed work instead of surprises. To use it, paste the skill into your assistant and send the project description, timeline, dependencies and anything that worries you; the reply opens with “Register table: risk, L, I, score, owner, mitigation, trigger”.
