Try a sample question

In y = 3 + 2x + u estimated by OLS, what does 2 mean?

  1. y is twice as large as x for every observation
  2. x explains 2% of the variation in y
  3. Two observations were used to estimate the model
  4. A one-unit increase in x is associated with a 2-unit increase in y on average
