Good handoff means involving engineers early, using design system components and tokens, annotating behaviour, covering every state and edge case, specifying responsive and accessibility requirements, organising files clearly, and staying available during build. Handoff is a collaboration, not a file drop. Practise on a real feature and verify with a free test.
