Are the China Digital Marketing Certification questions based on real standards?

Yes. The questions are original scenarios written by Science of Apps, and each one is based on a public source you can read: Statistical Report on China's Internet Development (China Internet Network Information Center); China business environment surveys and guidance (US-China Business Council); Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China (State Administration for Market Regulation); Personal Information Protection Law of the PRC (National People's Congress of China (official English translation via NPC Observer)). The source is shown under each question and linked in the answer review. Science of Apps doesn't copy questions from other tests.

What does the China Digital Marketing Certification cover?

Four skill areas with five questions each, drawn from a bank of 10 per area so a retake brings new questions: Ecosystem and Platforms (The China internet, Super apps and Content platforms); Tactics and Channels (WeChat ecosystem, Short video and live commerce and KOLs, KOCs and festivals); Compliance, Localisation and Measurement (Advertising law, Data and cross-border and Localisation and ROI); Strategy and Operations (Market entry, Partners and TPs and Crisis and reputation). Every question is an original scenario written to the 2026–2027 standard, with the published source named under it.

Who should take the China Digital Marketing Certification?

Brand or growth marketer entering China, Agency or e-commerce professional, Cross-border e-commerce seller, Marketing student focused on Asia and Founder or brand manager. It suits students at leading universities, career switchers and experienced professionals who want quick, verifiable proof of China Digital Marketing knowledge in 2026 and 2027.

Why take the China Digital Marketing Certification in 2027?

Students at national flagships and diaspora students at tier-1s abroad search for 'doing business in X' and local-market skills in their own language. Passing earns a founder-signed Science of Apps certificate with a credential ID and QR code that recruiters can verify.

Why do brands build "private traffic" in China?

Platform traffic is expensive, so brands move customers into owned channels such as WeChat groups, Official Accounts and Mini Programs, where they can re-engage them directly and cheaply.

What is a KOC?

A key opinion consumer: an everyday user with a modest but trusted following whose authentic reviews, often on Xiaohongshu or Douyin, can drive purchases more credibly than big-name influencers.

Can I take the China Digital Marketing Certification from any country?

Yes. The test is online, in English and free everywhere — people take it from India, the US, the UK, Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Your certificate is dated with your own local date and can be verified from anywhere at scienceofapps.com/certification/verify/.

Every certificate has a credential ID and a QR code. Scanning it, or entering the ID at scienceofapps.com/certification/verify/, shows the holder's name, the certification, the score and the issue date from our records.
